Agenda:

  1. Seminar for athletes and coaches national level and the World Cup level. The most recent developments and discoveries in the field of ski cross.
  2. Creation of a working group for the development of ski cross in the United States.
  3. Discussion the strategy of development of ski cross in the United States.
  4. Assistance Strategy for the new ski cross clubs and outstanding athletes.

Ski Cross Camp – June

USSX hosting Yellow level ski cross camp at Timberline, Mount Hood. All alpine athletes and coaches are welcome to join. Learn the secrets of ski cross used by the pros. The curriculum includes both performance theory and on the snow training. Video analysis is used to help athletes recognise and overcome technical challenges. At the end of this camp, each athlete will receive an individual training plan.

Daily Schedule:

9:00 – 12:00 Morning training session.
12:00 – 1:30 Lunch break.
1:30 – 3:00 Afternoon training session + ski cross theory.

Required equipment: GS skis, helmet, back protector.
Each athlete to provide their own insurance.
Camp participants receive a discount on future training with USSX ski cross club.

Attendance: All athletes 13 y.o. and old. Athletes 9-13 y.o. can join with parent/authorised adult supervision

  • Rollerblade-based training, focusing on modern turning technique.
  • Gym training. Special program for ski cross strength development.
  • Trampoline training.

Equipment requirements: Inline rollerblades, full protective gloves, helmet, ski poles, running shoes.

Attendance: All athletes, nine years and older.
Max athletes: 15
Cost: $120
